Supporting community cats to control the population
The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth offers a range of services aimed at supporting and controlling the community cat (or those who may be more familiar with the term feral cat) population in our communities.
Trap-Neuter-Return Program (TNR)
Accessible by public members, as well as colony cat caretakers, to have their cat fixed, vaccinated, treated for parasites, microchipped and ear tipped for just $35! For more information on this program or to register, please visit our TNR page.
Trap Rentals
Traps for rent are accessible by members of the public and colony caretakers who are trying to trap a community cat.
Cost to rent: $20 per 7 days.
Deposit amount (receive back when returned): $50

Winterized Cat Shelters
HSKWSP is now offering winterized cat shelters for sale, for just $10 (end of season sale - regularly $25) per shelter. Shelters will be available util they sell out each season. Please just visit one of our centres and ask at reception. Monies from the sale will go to build more shelters.
