Spay/Neuter
Clinic
Thank you for fixing your CAT!
The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth offers low-cost spay and neuter services for cats only, through our Stratford Perth Animal Centre location. We offer reduced cost spay and neuter services at our high-volume, high-quality spay-neuter (HVHQSN) clinic. This type of clinic is designed to provide means to control pet overpopulation using efficient surgical procedures, while still offering a high standard of medical care. All surgeries are performed by licensed veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians. The public, rescue groups and other shelters are welcome, regardless of geography or income.
What pets qualify?
We only accept cats as this time. Due to the high volume nature of our services, we have restrictions regarding which animals are acceptable for anesthesia and surgery through our clinic. See here for Eligibility Requirements. There are no income or geography restrictions.
Where can I access this service?
Our High-Volume, High-Quality Spay Neuter Clinic is located in our Stratford Perth Animal Centre at 125 Griffith Road, Stratford.

When do I pay?
We require pre-payment in full at the time of booking (online, or over the phone if you need assistance).
Does my pet need to be vaccinated?
Please note that while we do offer vaccination services at time of surgery, we strongly recommend ensuring your pets are up to date on vaccinations prior to their appointment. Any vaccinations given less than two weeks prior or at time of surgery are unlikely to provide any protection against contagious disease exposure during your pet’s stay at the SPHS.
