Adopt

Adoption is the best gift you can give an animal. We are thrilled to help you in your journey of finding a new best friend. Please visit our animal's bios and photos below, or find more information on our adoption process.

Start the Adoption Process

Thank you for choosing to adopt! Adoption positively impacts the lives of both our pets and adopters, and it’s an incredible journey that we can’t wait to start with you. Please know that we’re not only here to introduce you to your new best friend, but to support you in the adoption process and transition home.

Adopt a Dog

Whether you're seeking adventure or comfort, a dog can change your life. With dog adoption, you’re gaining a faithful companion while giving a deserving pet a forever home.

Adopt a Cat

Cats make a wonderful companion for a variety of reasons. From being a source of love and affection, to being an entertaining sidekick, our feline friends can play an extremely important role in both our home and lives.

Adopt a Reptile

Reptiles are a perfect choice for those looking for unique companionship. With the right attention and care, reptiles can make a great pet for any home.

Adopt a Small Animal

Small animals make great companions. Whether adopting a hamster, rat, guinea pig or rabbit, each animal has their own unique traits and lots of love to give.

Barn Buddy Program

The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth’s Barn Buddy Program is designed to match cat lovers who own heated structures, such as a barn or workshop, with a cat that prefers to live in an indoor/outdoor setting. Adopters are still deemed to be their owner and are responsible for food, water, shelter and ensuring they have access to regular medical care.
