Pet Licenses can be renewed online or over the phone. New licenses can be purchased online or in person at our Kitchener Waterloo Animal Centre.
PURSUANT TO CITY OF KITCHENER BY-LAW 2014- 138 ALL DOGS MUST BE LICENSED ANNUALLY.
As part of its effort to address the issue of pet overpopulation, the City of Kitchener has implemented higher licencing fees for non-sterilized dogs. Before a licence for a sterilized dog is issued, owners must submit a copy of their certificate of sterilization or be able to prove sterilization.
To keep our records up to date, please contact our office at (519) 745-5615 if you no longer own or have a dog. If your dog has passed away, we are so sorry for your loss. Please also contact us so we do not contact you further.
