Puppy Classes

Are you a new puppy parent looking to set your pup up for lifelong success? Our Puppy Training Group Class is designed to help you and your dog build a solid foundation using positive reinforcement training in a fun, supportive, and educational environment.

What's Involved?

This 4-week class is ideal for puppies aged 8 weeks to 5 months and focuses on:

  • Basic obedience (sit, down, recall, loose leash walking)
  • Confidence building through games and controlled exposure
  • Impulse control and manners around people and other dogs
  • Proper socialization and body language awareness
  • Problem prevention (jumping, biting, chewing, etc.)

What To Expect.

Led by a certified positive reinforcement trainer, each class will guide you through hands-on learning with your puppy and provide practical tips to manage common puppy challenges at home. Our focus is not only on training but also on strengthening the human-canine bond.

Puppy Play Groups may be incorporated into class when appropriate, allowing for safe and beneficial social interaction between puppies under trainer supervision.

Pricing & Dates

Duration: 4 Weeks
Location: Stratford & Kitchener
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Cost: $300

Our next sessions start in Stratford on Tuesday, August 26th and Kitchener on Wednesday, August 27th.

Important Notes:

  • Proof of vaccinations (minimum first set) is required to attend
  • Puppies must be a minimum of 8 weeks old at the start of class
  • Puppies showing more complex behavioural concerns (e.g. fear, reactivity, aggression) may be referred to private training or an external trainer for more individual support
  • Spaces are limited to ensure a safe and personalized experience for all participants
  • One dog per handler – children are welcome to attend with a parent/guardian
