More Than Fresh Lines: A Meaningful Gift from Lotliner.ca

Sometimes, two organizations that do very different work can come together in a way that creates something truly meaningful.

Recently, Lotliner.ca gave the parking lot at our Stratford Perth Animal Centre a much-needed refresh, repainting the lot and our accessible parking space. The finished result looks fantastic, and the care and attention to detail are easy to see. Parking lot painting is what Lotliner.ca does, providing professional line painting and custom stencilling for properties throughout Southern Ontario.

But there’s much more to this story than fresh paint.

We learned that the work was done in memory of the owner’s beloved Great Dane, Dave. As part of the project, a special stencilling of Dave now has a place on our parking lot, creating a lasting and beautiful tribute to a much-loved companion.

For us, that little image represents something much bigger.

It’s a reminder of the incredible bond we share with our animals, the many ways their lives continue to have meaning after they’re gone, and what can happen when community-minded businesses find their own unique ways to work together.

Our organizations may do very different work, but we share something important: a connection to the community we serve and the animals we love. When local businesses choose to use their skills, resources, and generosity to support others, the impact can reach far beyond the service they provide.

To the owner and team at Lotliner.ca, thank you. Our parking lot looks amazing, but even more importantly, we are honoured that you chose our Stratford Perth Animal Centre as a place to remember Dave.

His mark is now quite literally part of our Centre, and we think that’s pretty special.

Thank you for supporting the animals and people in our community, and for reminding us how meaningful it can be when we come together, celebrate what matters, and find ways to make a difference.
