End Of Life Care

Compassionate End of Life Care

Our pets are beloved family members who fill our lives with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. When it’s time to say goodbye, it can be one of the hardest decisions a family faces.

We understand how deeply difficult this time can be and are here to ensure every pet’s final moments are filled with comfort, care, and love — while offering understanding and guidance to those who love them most.

We encourage families to reach out to their regular veterinarian for euthanasia services whenever possible. However, if cost is an obstacle due to age or illness, our team is here to help provide gentle, respectful care during this emotional time.

Saying Goodbye with Love & Dignity

The deep love and bond we share with our pets make it incredibly hard to see them in pain during their final days. If you believe your beloved companion is suffering or in distress, the HSKWSP is here to support you. Those in need of our euthanasia services can reach out using the form below or by emailing rvt@kwsphumane.ca. Our goal is to provide a calm, compassionate environment for both you and your pet during this difficult time.

Please note that, due to space limitations, families cannot be present during the euthanasia procedure itself. However, you are welcome to say your goodbyes in our private “Maple Room.” Afterward, your pet will be privately brought to our animal hospital, where humane euthanasia will be performed with care and dignity.

Euthanasia & Common Cremation:

The cost of sedation, euthanasia and communal cremation (no urn returns) of a cat, dog, small mammal. Please note that, due to space limitations, families cannot be present during the euthanasia procedure itself.

Euthanasia & Individual Cremation

With individual cremation, your pet remains will be returned to you. Please note that, due to space limitations, families cannot be present during the euthanasia procedure itself.
