Pet licenses can be purchased or renewed online using the form below, over the phone with a credit card or in person at our centres.
CITY OF STRATFORD BY-LAW 195-2002 STATES THAT ALL DOGS AND CATS MUST BE LICENSED ANNUALLY.
As part of its effort to address the issue of pet overpopulation, the City of Stratford has implemented higher licensing fees for non-sterilized dogs. Before a licence for a sterilized dog is issued, owners must submit a copy of their certificate of sterilization or be able to prove sterilization.
To keep our records up to date, please contact our office at (519) 273-6600 if you no longer own or have a dog. If your dog has passed away, we are so sorry for your loss. Please also contact us so we do not contact you further.
