Join us for our award winning Summer Camp!
Join the Humane Society for another summer camp season! Our summer camp provides a safe space to learn, meet new friends (animal and human!), and play. Each summer camp week is filled with animal themed games and activities, guest presenters, educational activities, crafts, and to end the week off right...pizza!
Children are placed in groups of campers their own age, and our camps have one of the regions' best staff to camper ratio. Our staff are passionate about the camp experience, are first aid certified, and have all had experience leading campers.

Vet Camp
This week long specialty camp teaches kids aged 9-12 what it's like to work in the world of animals and veterinary medicine, including practicing physical exams to running their own appointment.

Summer Camp
Our award winning summer camp is a fantastic way for children aged 6-11 to learn about responsible pet ownership, animal handling and daily care.
Cost: $350
Animal Academy
This one-week camp designed for kids aged 8–12 who are passionate about animals and eager to learn more about grooming, vet care, animal behaviour and animal enrichment.

Refund Policy Day Camp
Refund Policy:
Refunds will be issued upon written request by email and will be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined below. The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth reserves the right to grant exceptions to this policy in extreme circumstances.
No Refunds for Partial Attendance or Illness:
We do not provide refunds when a participant leaves a program after it has started, for any reason. This includes situations involving illness, personal choice, or when a participant needs to be removed from the program due to behaviour or safety concerns. Staffing, preparation, and resources are planned and allocated for the full duration of the program, which means we are unable to offer partial refunds in these circumstances.
Weather Conditions:
Day Camp will take place in all weather conditions. Should a session need to be cancelled due to extreme weather parents will be notified as soon as possible.
Refund Guidelines:
15 days notice or more (before 1st session) for refund – 10% program fee deducted
14 days to 73 hours notice for refund – 50% program fee refunded
72 hours notice or less – No refund
Once program has begun – No refund
